Having said that, it is no excuse and for the random visitors to this site who do read I apologize for not publishing more. Over the past 18 months during the downturn and now what seems to be a sustained up turn in the US economy, to hone my business skills if you will, I focused on a few core needs to be addressed each waking day.
One of them amongst all others has stood out as truly the most productive item...networking. It sounds clique that you need to get your name out in front of folks and be face to face as often as you can but I can say with great confidence that this was never more effective than it was during the bad times. People felt a sense of comfort even simply seeing me and so did I knowing that we were in this situation together. It also helped reassure clients and potential clients that I was committed to helping them and naturally it has bore fruit for my own business.
So I have a new phrase I am going to coin since I have not seen anyone else say it:
