Joshua Marc Konowe
Joshua Konowe brings a wealth of online and offline marketing and business knowledge to the firm. He has worked for Fortune 1000 companies like Nielsen, Euromoney PLC and Katz Radio Group. Prior to starting his own consulting firm, he boot-strapped and exited two successful startups in just over 7 years from 2002-2009, eAgent and BrandClick. The firm's recent consulting work includes Arrow Electronics (Ticker: ARW) and The public interest registry which owns the rights to all the .ORG domain names. In his spare time, Joshua is a mentor at The Founder Institute, a board member at a branding shop in San Francisco called Great-Monday, an adviser for several web and mobile startups and father to one very precocious 7 year old named Gen.
His core focus has always been to help grow bottom line. Whether it is a bottoms up organic solution or a top down brut force push, Josh considers them just tools in the toolbox. Mr. Konowe's success is attributed to his capability to see targets before they materialize and to act with the right measured response.
Joshua graduated with a BA from the University of Kentucky in 1996. He was voted one of the "Top 35 under 35," by Bisnow.com, his second start-up was nominated for hottest boot-strap by the Northern Virginia Tech Council, and he is a graduate of the Mindshare Alumni group, the most influential CEO networking non-profit on the East Coast with more than 800 successful entrepreneurial members. He has guest lectured and been a panel judge for MBA students at several universities, including Georgetown for the last 3 years.
Mr. Konowe or his companies are often quoted and featured in dozens of high profile publications (Techcrunch, Wall Street Journal, ARSTechnica, USAtoday...etc.) and recently in a marketing handbook written by Bernice Ross.
